The artist strategically employs this technique as a commentary on the censorship imposed on queer bodies, intending to challenge conventional notions of perceived beauty. Through the intentional disruption of visual coherence up close, the work prompts viewers to confront the obscured narratives surrounding queer identities, ultimately advocating for a broader and more nuanced understanding of beauty.
